fall rally north + light the night = a croaking voice
OH DEAR. this year, my plans were to be more active in clubs so i am so glad i went key club events today! yesterday was our october DCM, and it was pretty fun mingling with people from other schools. D12 south, yeahhhhh! anyway, i’m going to try and blog about my whole day. i don’t know who the hell will have the time to actually read this, but maybe i’ll bold stuff to make it more fun to read. LOL.
so this morning, i set my alarm for 7 because i had to shower and get ready by curling my hair and making breakfast for myself before tianna came by to pick me up. she came around 9:10-ish for fall rally north! wooot! so many people were there! i felt so unspirited because i didn’t buy a t-shirt, but i stopped caring after a while. ahahaha. i mean, at least i wore an asphalt colored shirt! we first get there, wait in the wrong lines TWICE and then after that, we went into the amphitheater. like emily said, D7 south were like 7-11s, EVERYWHERE. yadayada, we got third place for being spirited and now my voice is like butchered at this point from my shrill screams.trini, mindy, emily, and i all missed the D12S group picture to run to top gun (i refuse to call this flight deck). i haven’t been on roller coasters in a loong time, so that was fun.
[stolen picture from her] i got the chance to meet lauren too! wooot! after knowing each other for a long time, we finally got to take a picture! :D
anyway, there was a lot of walking around great america and a bunch of other districts asking us how we feel. LOL. i think the best cheer was when this old guy was at the stop light while we were crossing the street to the light rails, and we had to do our cheer in the middle of the street. HAHAHAHA. and for the light rails, they had to kick us off at an earlier stop, so we all walked our asses across downtown to get to light the night. we went in a circle too. LOL. but whatever, more exercise. the fun part was “cheering” for the walkers at our station. like, we were all posing like statues and then going WOOOOOOO when they walked past a certain line, bowing like typical asian monks, and slapping high-fives with bunches of random strangers. i was so hyper at night, no idea where i was getting all my energy. i only had like what, 5 hours of sleep? [insert more and more walking around] i ended up going home with trini, helen, and barry in linh’s car, having interesting conversations. i had a blast todayyyy. :D
…now to do laundry. :/
P.S. I WILL UPLOAD MY PICTURES SOON AND EDIT THEM INTO THIS POST, K?
OH KRISTI! most of this is part of my day hahaha
THE WALK THERE WAS A DISASTERRRR, DISASTERRRRR
Dance like no one is watching. Sing like no one is listening. Love like you’ve never been hurt and live like it’s heaven on Earth.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.
I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.
